2. INTERPRETATIVE PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS
- Consumer: Any natural person acting for purposes which are outside his or her trade, business, craft or profession, who enters into a contract.
- Digital service: In this case, live, interactive online Korean language classes (via the Zoom platform).
- Digital content: Data produced and supplied in digital form (e.g., pre-recorded video courses).
- Contract: A distance contract concluded between the Service Provider and the Customer through an order placed on the website.
3. THE PROCESS AND TECHNICAL STEPS OF CONCLUDING A CONTRACT
- Selection of service: The Customer selects the live online language class on the website.
- Data entry: The Customer provides the data necessary for billing and communication.
- Correction of data entry errors: Before payment, the Customer has the opportunity to check and modify the data.
- Payment and prices: The Service Provider is tax-exempt (AAM), therefore the prices shown are gross amounts and do not include VAT. Payment is made in Euros (EUR) via the Stripe system.
- Confirmation: The system sends an automatic confirmation of the purchase. The contract is concluded upon confirmation.
- Billing: The Service Provider issues an electronic invoice through the Billingo system, which the Customer receives via e-mail.
4. SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR LIVE ZOOM CLASSES
- Cancellation and absence: The fee for the classes is payable in advance. If the Customer does not appear at the live class, the Service Provider will not refund the paid fee, as the Customer is provided with the opportunity to view the recording afterwards.
- Recording and rewatchability: The Service Provider records the live classes. The Customer can access the recordings on the online platform for 1 month following the given class or the purchase.
- Obstruction of the Service Provider: If the Service Provider is unable to hold the class due to a technical error or illness, they are obliged to offer a make-up time slot.
- Rules of conduct: The Customer is obliged to follow the rules of cultured cooperation during the classes. Harassment of other participants or intentional disruption of the class may result in immediate exclusion from the class without a refund.
5. SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR VIDEO CLASSES
- Access: Access to the video content becomes available after successful payment, but no later than 48 hours after the class. The duration of access is 1 month from the purchase or from the time the class was held.
- Limitation of the right of withdrawal: Based on Section 29 (1) point m) of Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), the Customer acknowledges that by starting the viewing (playback) of the digital content, they lose their right of withdrawal without justification.
6. MINIMUM TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The following are required on the part of the Customer to use the service:
- Broadband internet connection.
- A device capable of running Zoom software (computer, tablet, or smartphone).
- Working speakers/headphones and a microphone.
- A browser for viewing video content.
- The Service Provider is not responsible for any unavailability resulting from hardware or software errors occurring on the Customer’s side.
7. IMPLIED WARRANTY AND DIGITAL CONFORMITY
- The Service Provider warrants that the digital content/service is fit for its purpose at the time of performance according to the contract.
- In case of defective performance (e.g., the video does not start, or the Zoom link is faulty), the Customer may request the correction of the error (ensuring access to the content or scheduling a make-up time).
8. COPYRIGHTS
All content found on the website, including videos, PDF supplementary materials, and recordings of live classes, constitutes the intellectual property of Vanda Bazin.
- It is prohibited to record, reproduce, pass on to third parties, or publicly publish the contents by any means.
- Sharing user accounts (login data) with others is prohibited and will result in immediate exclusion from the service without compensation.
9. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The consumer is entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal without justification from the date of concluding the contract, except:
- If the provision of the service (holding the live class) has begun with the consumer’s express, prior consent.
- If the performance of digital content (video course) has begun with the consumer’s express, prior consent (start of viewing).
10. FORCE MAJEURE
It shall not be considered a breach of contract if either party is unable to fulfill their obligations due to causes beyond their control and which were unforeseeable (e.g., nationwide internet network outage, war, pandemic restrictions).
11. COMPLAINT HANDLING AND REDRESS
- Contact: In case of a complaint, the Customer can contact the Service Provider at the hello@learnwithkpop email address.
- Conciliation Body: In the event of a consumer dispute, the Customer may turn to the conciliation body competent according to their place of residence. The body competent according to the Service Provider’s registered office:

12. FINAL PROVISIONS
Regarding issues not regulated in these GTC, the Civil Code (Ptk.) and the legislation concerning distance contracts shall prevail. The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
